Opening Ceremony
Jaffa Fest International Theatre Festival will open on a high note with a rhythmic street performance, celebrating the multiculturalism, and the unique groove of Jaffa.
Under the ficus trees of Jerusalem Boulevard, next to the fountain of Gesher Theatre's plaza, the guests will gather, glasses of orange juice will be raised, bottles will be opened to the brass sounds of Marsh Dondurma. Fourteen orchestra members from, different musical backgrounds, will deliver a fusion sound of Funk with Middle Eastern notes, New Orleans Big-Band style with a Yemeni groove, and Balkan riffs with Klezmer heart, to which no one will remain indifferent.
The band has released six albums and is a regular guest at leading festivals in Israel and throughout the world.
