Butterflies in the Sunrise
Three performative acts
Zagopa
The interdisciplinary ensemble of Hasimta Theatre
Directing, text, music and movement: Idan Zilberstein
Three stories about three women in their search for freedom.
A laboring mother wishing to free her child before its birth,
A girl reclaiming fire from the decadent high-class society
A vanished woman turns into a leader of the resistance force against a tyrannical regime.
Layers of narrative, visual and physical work, music, video, light and sound pose the question: why does one need freedom?
