Tanbouri’s Shoes

A spectacular and imaginative puppet show depicting the special relationship between a grandmother and her grandson, through a well known and beloved folk tale


Grandma arrived to babysit her beloved grandson, and reads him a bedtime story - Tanbouri’s Shoes - about a miserly merchant from Baghdad trying to get rid of his old, big shoes. But every time he’s sure he had gotten rid of them, someone brings them back to him… Until, one day, he goes far away and throws them beyond a  wall, where they fall straight on the king’s head…
